FitSteps®, the brand, first came to life in 2013 as the result of a collaboration between two of the UK’s most famous ballroom dancers and one of Britain’s most successful swimmers.
During the long, arduous dance training sessions that are an integral part of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, Natalie Lowe, Ian Waite, and Olympic swimmer Mark Foster, decided to mix the graceful steps of Ballroom and the up-tempo steps of the Latin dances together to create a fun, and effective way to stay fit that would appeal to everyone, even if they felt they could not dance.
Later, they created FitSteps® FAB (For All Bodies), a unique dance fitness programme especially for those that would prefer a slower paced, easy to follow, and low impact exercise class that is 'so much fun you don’t even realise you’re getting fit!’ Just perfect as an all over body workout that is suitable for all ages and abilities, with no need for a partner!
